VELUX "Fresh Air" Skylights
Manual venting skylights are a cost-effective way to add both natural light and fresh air to any space. They open and close with a ZCT 300 telescoping control rod when installed out of reach or a smooth-turning ZZZ 212 crank handle when installed within reach. (Accessories are sold separately.)
VELUX curb mount skylights feature Laminated Low-E3 (0004/2004) Standard Safety Glass with a hail warranty against glass breakage. Enjoy 25% less unwanted outside noise than standard double pane glass and up to 50% less than a plastic skylight.
The VELUX 10-year installation warranty
VELUX curb mount skylight flashing kits (models ECL & ECW) are engineered to fit VELUX skylights perfectly and include a roll of adhesive underlayment so you get 3 layers of water protection. VELUX's industry-first 10-year installation warranty has you covered. We offer curb mount flashing kits for almost every type of roofing material. A roof pitch between 10-60 degrees is required for ECL shingle, shake, and slate roof flashing, and a roof pitch between 14-60 degrees is required for ECW tile roof flashing.
VELUX MANUAL SKYLIGHTS
A control rod can be used when skylights are out-of-reach. An optional crank handle is available for in-reach applications.
Pre-finished white frames and sashes and the option to add solar powered room darkening shades for improved light control and energy efficiency.
Laminated glass meets building codes and a Neat® glass coating disperses water evenly for quick evaporation and reduced water spotting.
